Preservation Methods

Freeze drying- A method that reduces the residual moisture level to equal to or less than 6% as recommended by the AATB. Freeze drying, also known as lyophilization is the most common preservation method.

Freezing – A method in which grafts are packaged and stored at temperatures of –40 degrees Celsius or colder.
